Hello! I live in Cape Coral, but work in Fort Myers. I would recommend calling Childcare of Southwest Florida. They can give you info and lists on licensed providers in the area. They deal with home daycare as well as daycare centers. They helped me to find the provider I have now for my daughter and she is great!
Also, before I found them I checked www.myflorida.com/childcare I did a search for close to my zip code and everyone on that list that had a good inspection (no violations) and had a phone number I started calling.
If you need/want any more info, phone numbers and such feel free to email me anytime! :) Welcome to sunny SWFLA!!

Dang, no need to bite her head off.
I would say, since he's 9 months, find a smaller daycare, or a home ran daycare with someone you feel totally comfortable with. He can get more one on one time, less germs, and adjust to the change easier.
I have to say that I am a stay at home mother, but that isnt possible, or desireable for every woman. You do what you feel is the best for your situation, and for youself and your boy :)

Under 3 years of age, more than ten hours a week separation from mommy causes terrible social, intellectual, emotional, and physical damage to a child. The research has been clearly showing this for 50 years - there is no doubt. For boys, the damage is even worse.
Where should you go? Wherever you can keep your child with you, as nature evolved his brain to require.

Hasn't all of us heard of people who retire to Florida? They spend all their retirement money on shifting to Florida and the place it is not in any respect that chilly. you need to to boot pass out of the state, in case you do no longer want any elderly people! attempt Texas or California! that's the place you will get faraway from those people, yet do no longer you have some manners?
