There's a girl in my class who I used to talk to and also used to like her but I feel like she really hates me now. She's being really mean to me and tries to comment on things I do. Here and there she still talks to me and she asked me today whether I'm gonna go to some school event soon... I'm confused cause she had just slapped (near other people) me a few days ago for no reason in a mean kinda way. Should I just leave her alone and ignore her or should I talk to her about this....cause I see her on a daily basis....

Hmmmmm. Well.... maybe she likes you to, but through frustration or maybe just as a means to be near you, she comes across as mean. We are usually like this when we are younger, just starting to like boys, since we're not sure how to behave around boys we like. Also, we think we should play hard to get, or at least let the boy make the first move..... something that lessens as we have been in the dating scene for a while.
If you are older maybe she feels that she has to behave that way in front of friends, but when they are not around she has the freedom to be nice. However, if she wonders if you are going to a certain school function, that shows some level of interest.
Either way I think you should ignore her. If it is like she has for you, you will know soon enough. She won't like being ignored.

I think you need to talk to her and ask her why she is acting like this. Now, if she ignores you or continues to act that way, leave her alone. That's not a friendship worth saving. But you really should try to get her alone so you two can talk this over. Hope things work out for the two of you.

there's two explanations: 1) she likes you and feels like she can't talk to you anymore cause she's too shy to flirt or 2) shes just another of those insane, evil girls who think the second any guy on the planet doesn't ask her out he is a jerk. Here's how to tell:
~if she talks to just about every guy in your class and acts like that toward any that don't come onto her, she's probably case number two. if she doesn't really talk to a lot of guys except you(that doesn't mean you're the only one...) then she probably is near the number 1 range.
~if you catch her staring at you in a shy way more than twice, she is number one. if you catch her staring at you with a scowl on her face and doesn't blush when you look at her, and she stares at other guys, she is number two.
~If she has a sn, look for this: does she always say Hi if she's on IM and so are you or most of the time? does she try to keep a conversation going with you? hello, number one. If she waits for you to do it most of the time, and doesn't seem to be that afraid of what she says around you, to make her look like a jerk, um sorry dude, she's number two.
~This is the last clue: does she touch her hair and face when she's around you? If so, she LIKES YOU!

Honey it is either PMS or she has new friends and thinks that she has to show off to fit in. No matter what the reason you shouldn't have to deal with it. Just ask her what the hell her problem is and if you've done something wrong she should tell you. if she says she is not mad at you then she is doing this for no reason. If that is the case tell her to leave you alone!

You just need to let her know how you feel and ask her how she feels so that thier is no confusion. She could have slapped you because she does not know how you feel and didnt want you to think that she liked you so she didnt look hurt. Being honest about both of your feelilng is the only solution.

you know what? gurls really like when a boy is being real and dont be scared to talk ur mind just because she a gurl dont let that face foul ya man i think u should just talk to her and let her understand how u feel bout her and what u think u need to do about it and if she comes back and say stuff u was not expecting then just ignore her and move on, she might someday come back and talk to ya trust me she will!!.. well just good luck and work on that

why in this day and age its ok for a girl to hit a boy and not vice versa?

She is a girl. She is irrational, mean and imature. If you want to waste your time with behaviour like that then do all you can. My advice is to get real friends.
