500-800 $ if is a purebreed

You shouldn't be breeding or buying a Yorkie puppy without papers. Any reputable breeder would give you the papers after you have had the puppy spayed.

If your dog isn't show quality you shouldn't be breeding it anyways. Our shelter currently has 9 purebred Yorkies awaiting adoption/euthanisia. Most likely they will all be adopted as we have only had to put down severly ill/injured Yorkies - but the fact remains - there are too many dogs and not enough homes!!!

there are people that will charge a lot just for them to get the paper and sell them, but when they don't want to bother with the papers, then you should offer the person money to get the papers. if they refuse to do that then it is because it may not be purebred . and then it not any reason why a person charges a lot of money. the cover of the vet bill, you must see that, their food which isn't much, how much can a little puppy eat. then what the service of stud. but not no more then that. l would say that 200.00 is the tops.

When I was looking at dogs people tended to charge 500-700 with papers and 300-500 without... and those withot paper tended to drop in price dramatically after a few weeks of not being sold.

The minimal fees for covering the vet cost, food, and shots. You can't charge anything for a 'purebred' yorkie female with no papers. How can you prove she is a purebred?

No papers means you cannot prove the dog is actually a purebred. I would say it is worth the cost of current shots and altering, which is what most rescues charge for adoption fees.
