SOME OF YOU GOT THE RIGHT IDEA,I'VE HAD IT ON A CODE TESTER SNAP-ON TYPE I'VE ALSO REPLACED TEMP SEN. HAVE ALREADY CLEANED IAC.SEN. TPS, SW TEST GOOD.LESS THAN 4.50 I'VE NOTICE FUEL LINES ARE LIKE ICE NEXT TO MANIFOLD, AT TOP. IT SOMETIMES RUNS GREAT AFTER A COUPLE OF MIN. IT LIKE A BAD CAP JUMPING SPARK. MISSES BAD THEN DIES. I MYSELF AM A GOOD MECH. JUST QUIT BACK 1987. SO NEW STUFF I AIN'T UP ON. TRING CLOSEPINS ON FUEL LINES NEXT. SEE IFF IT IS VAPOR LOCKING. MAYBE SOMEONE HAS HAD LUCK THAN ME. LET ME KNOW.PLEASE APREAITATE IT.

the easiest check is find a mechanic with a comptuer and have him check the computer in the car. 93 was stilla fairly early age in the electronic cars and you may have a fritiz on that. easiest thing to check to...just plugging in a cable. But that would throw off the idle, mess up the injectors causeing stalls...all sorts of fun stuff...

Sounds like a bad Idle Air Control unit.
Sometimes it helps to remove & clean them, but most times they need replaced.

I agree with Indiana, but I would also check the throttle position sensor. When the t.p.s. voltage is off it will cause the vehicle to idle erratically.
