Oh come ON! Why don't you just go to www.wikipedia.org and type "global warming" in the search window if you want all the general information in the world on the subject? Such a question is similar to just asking us to tell you everything we know. It is a BAD question.

Although it is known that car emissions and the burning of fossil fuels does contribute to global warming nature also plays a part.....volcanic actions and fires...but has anyone really proved that we are still not evolving from an ice age or a 100 yr or 1000 yr cycle.......who was there at the time taking down the stats Al Broker from The Today Show????

Global warming is caused by the increasing emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The warming is caused by what is called the Greenhouse Effect. I suggest that you do some internet search and collect a few articles.

Fossil fuels (coal, oil, gas etc.) release carbon dioxide on burning and thus production of electricity throug them is one of the major causes now.

Go to your local video store and rent Al Gore's Global Warming movie. There is a lot you can do now. (small things to help) Good luck!
