The good transcends an image of an old guy with a long white beard. Too many people mistake what is willed by Men to be what is willed by God. I don't think most people (me included) understand what God is and so latch on to some manmade theological system that will comfort them and make them feel that they know good and evil on the authority of a higher being that is but an image of the real thing.

What is good?

You can only measure "goodness" in relation to "evilness" so evil makes it possible to see what is good.

Therefore being evuil can be good and vice versa.
