Only invite someone along if he's inviting someone else too. Or it would be highly awkward for all 3 of you. How about a double date if your really nervous? But the best thing is to just go alone. You will have to get used to hanging out with your bf on your own. Better start right away in my opinion.

If he's your BF, then why are you nervous? IF you know him well then DON'T invite someone. Inviting someone on a date is what you do when you're not into the guy and you want him to leave you alone.

me personally..even though i would be nervous..i would want to spend the time with him alone..if it is date where you dont trust him..then bring a friend...but if it is someone that you know but this is your first date together..then spend it alone with him....

the question you should pose yourself is why do you feel nervous???
he is your boyfriend so i must assume you have been out together before so why the stress now???
personally i would like my lady to tell me she is nervous and why so that we can resolve it --- i do not want to double date ---- i want to be alone with my love
