On Mac OS 10.2 !!! my dvd player only plays some .avi files an .mpeg files, but no .mov files!

The one I've used is called something like TMPeng or something like that. It's free. Or at least it was when I got it a while back. Pretty easy to use. Good software, converts avi files to mpegs.

in fact, you do not have to convert the AVI or MOV to MPEG first. There are many dvd burner products in market that can directly burn your videos in different formats to dvd disc. good luck!

Use a PC. Seriously, just give up the mac. There are not enough programs out there for it, and most are hastily or poorly written.
Then go to ZDnet and get the software there for doing just that.

get quicktime for mac----(no prob if you want a full version download it, i'll give you the serial code)
