There's been alot of research on that. Women are sort of hard-wired to multi-task. Survival of the species depends upon women: keeping their young alive, tending to family, procuring food, providing shelter, warmth, teaching survival skills etc. But......supposedley this is evolving to include males as well. Evolution takes awhile, but our culture is so bombastic now: cell phones, video images, driving, working, having to be aware of so many things, having to operate in an on-line world, that it is said humanity as a whole is beginning to take on the mindset of the mother. I believe that research can be found if you google multi-task mind.

I think it might have something to do with how our brains operate differently..
That and culturally, (most of us) grow up seeing our mothers handling multiple things.. work, kids, laundry, dishes, driving, planning, shopping, etc.. and men generally dont take on that much at once..

becuase guys have one track minds thats y. women are equipped with that trait, thats how women can have kids, take care of them, take them to all their extracurricular activities, cook, clean, and wash clothes and pull a 9-5 job too. were programmed to multitask!
