Paris is definitely smaller than New York.
There are only 2 million people living in Paris. But Paris is just the centre of a conurbation of 9 million people.

Paris is extremely small, comparing to what we think. It is, though, very crowded and that's why we think it's that big. From the East to the West of Paris it's only 14 kilometers which is equivalent to about 8.5 miles. But it is packed, pretty much every sq foot of it is used. I don't know how big (in dimensions) NYC is, but it's definitely bigger than Paris.

Paris is smaller than NYC. But the city itself is bigger than Manhattan. And every square meter is used in Paris. The density is higher in Paris than in NYC.

I have found that Paris tends to have more French people in it. Oh, and it's also in Europe as oppose to the USA.

And its exactly the same size as Penzance, to the nearest cm.
