Hi - I am getting married in Jamaica on my partners 50th birthday. When we come back I would like to have a surprise party to celebrate both his birthday and our wedding. (He has never had a birthday party!) Can anybody help with the wording? It must state SURPRISE party and also wedding!

Congratulations it sounds like a lovely idea. The best thing to do as stated above is something like
I would like to invite you to join me for a double surprise celebration on the (insert date). (partners name) and I will be celebrating both our recent wedding and his 50th birthday!
Please RSVP directly to me to keep the party a surprise for (insert partners name)

Unless you are sure your partner doesn't want to see the wedding invitation it is impossible. The suggestion of 2 is ideal and putting them in together means only 1 stamp! If his birthday party wasn't a surprise then no problem with the wording.

We got married!

since the wedding isnt a surprise I suggest you do two different invitations. I'm sure your fiance will want to see the wedding invitations so it will be easier to hide a surprise party invite than the wedding invite.
