People often don't want to know but the implications of this are that we are full of a toxic chemicals and we are slowly poisoning ourselves and the environment. It can't be ignored and we can't let ourselves be brainwashed by advertising.

We all want to be well, healthy and live in a beautiful world so it's down to us, what can we do to make it that way? Consumers have the most power to change things as it's all down to what the public wants, it's up to us to spend wisely. Everything makes a difference.

We have to make the changes from the top down.

Our elected officials make bad choices in the long run for our nation in order to reap short term benefits financially from lobbyists.

It's 22 months away from out next election, and they are expecting an over 1 billion dollar presidential race. That money is coming in large part from corporate donations, for corporate decisions in office.

One thing that could help, is I believe Democrats to be more responsible fiscally and environmentally, and I believe a lot of Americans feel that as well. However, so many Americans will not vote Democratic because of the abortion issue. If the Democrats could only give up that stance, I think it would swing enough votes their way that they could make a bigger difference.

For me, whenever I have a beef or an idea that could make a difference, I write my office holders, takes 10 seconds to google the email address of whomever you're looking for, then another minute or two to say your peace, and its free.

If the Media were controlled by people wanting the world to be a better place , that would be a start.

Put environmentalists in control of the media, with no monetary influences put on them by Big Oil and other lobbyists, and the world would be better than it would be any other way.

To control all media , would be to control the world , and unfortunately the media today is 99% GREED , they'll spin it whatever way you want for the right price.

Environmentalist Controlled media.

I totally agree. I believe it starts in your own heart. Out with hate and in with love can change the world. Also, knowing that we are all the same, just different beautiful shades. I also agree with the comment about the media(particularly the news) some people really rely on the news as a accurate assessment of what really going on in the world. They even make judgments about certain ethnic groups. Stop the media save the world.

Millions of tons of crap DAILY into the atmosphere is nothing to sneeze at. Pun intended.

We are screwing ourselves over for a buck.
Shooting ourselves in the herd.
Stepping on our own ducks.
Cutting off our nose to spite our finch.
Kicking ourselves in the aardvark.

We're ruining it for everybody and everything, and people who can't accept it are three fries short of a Happy Meal.
