You are very lucky, for the time being. Don't get too excited until you get into the long term to make sure it isn't just a fluke!
We were still working on the potty training at 5, almost 6, months with our Border Collie... thankfully, now at 7 months, she's good to go!

I grew up with border collies and they're a uncommon breed. VERY effortless to educate as long as you might be firm and regular in what you need. It's certainly not too late to train a dog. I now rescue dogs of all a while and many have never been housebroken. By and large inside a number of weeks, they're first-class (and that is with both my husband and i working!) The crate coaching systems stated as solutions is a quality notion. The actual key is to maintain the dog to a extra restricted area in order that they think it is "their spot" as most puppies won't defecate in "their spot" (for this reason a crate is a good resolution). Nevertheless, you are going to need to watch and at any time when that you may catch the dog getting ready to alleviate, rush it outside and then praise when the job is completed. The more you could capture it and get it to move outside, the faster your training will be whole. The BC will love being within with you as it si an extraordinarily human connected sort of breed. It loves to thrill and be with "its folks". However, it's also a very lively breed both physically and mentally. It's saved happiest if it has tons of pastime and has a job! If it is not, it may be harmful and to find negative retailers for its energy. Ours used to like to herd us children around the yard via nipping at our heels. Nonetheless, frisbee and ball chasing and obedience drills work exceptional too! Just right luck and congrats and a satisfactory breed!

I think you were lucky yesterday. I would be completely and utterly shocked if you were to post a message in a week and say that there had still been no accidents. Please do let us know next Friday! We may need to do a study of her if that's the case, because it would be a first!

You're just lucky! LOL That is wonderful!
Make sure to keep it up and continue to make a great deal about her going to the door, and going potty outside. She may (hopefully not) revert back and have accidents in the house. Don't punish her for it, she'll remember how great it was going outside!
YAY for you!

LUCKY or someone has started the training process and absolutely wonderful. Make sure you keep encouraging the little one and appraising for all the good deeds. Don't be surprised if the little one gets caught up playing and doesn't make it to the door fast enough, they get distracted easily.

That's a bit uncommon but not ridiculously so. Intelligent breeds learn what you teach them quickly, and with many it's more a question of the strength ot their their alpha drive creating resistance.
