Shy Girl S...although people may link the term to sex...it is a term used in many ways...you can be dominant and submissive even with your own thoughts....a job...how you drive a car...competitive sport...anything........and arrogance is another thing altogether...one is nothing to do with the other...;0)

Professionally I like to dominate. I like to make things happen, I like to be in control and get things going as a result.

In relationships for me it's very much a two way thing. I like making plans and decisions but I never want it all to be left up to me to the point where either I very much run the show in terms of what we do but neither would I want to be totally under the thumb.

Sport? Dominate. I'm competitive, I want to be the best (even when I'm clearly not lol)

Sexually. Again likerelationships I prefer a two way sort of deal. Sometimes I take control and bring new things into the bedroom and other times I would really prefer my girl did exactly what she wanted and I would not begrudge her any fuss about it. This is of course unless the person I'm with likes it one way or the other.

In life in general. Fairly laid back, like to take things as they come and not lose hair over things I simply can't control so in a sense I'm a bit submissive on that front.

My nature is pretty much submissive, until provoked...then I guess I retaliate, which then makes me Dominant (though, I'd never really looked at it that way before now). When I am learning things from someone wiser, then I am once again submissive. In order for me to learn, I empty myself of any preconceived notions that I had beforehand in order for me to gain the knowledge that I seek...don't misunderstand this, I will ask questions along the way and I find this approach gains alot of respect from both parties involved.

As for the bedroom, I prefer to be the submissive one. I do love the control that my lover has over me but once again, it's the submissive partner that holds the true power....allowing your lover to Dominate you is a mind blowing experience.

Do not confuse Dominance with arrogance, or submissiveness with being cowardly....both work and is pretty much a necessity in life, though alot of people choose to give it different names, as it's usually likened to sexual activity.

It is really a part of life and dating.
Dominance is traditionally the role of the one who is the leader, but everyone has good ideas and needs to have a voice in how things go.
The submissive one is looking for guidance, and you can do them a favor by giving them a bit more self-confidence.
Of course after a long day making big decisions, some people want to go home and be told what to do to give them a mental break I guess.
Everyone is different and we all play different roles in life.

I tend to dominate when I need to take charge of the situation. I submit when there's a conflict and it's not really important who the leader is. If someone else feels the need to be the dominate one, I'll submit. I haven't found too many things I need to assert myself to the point of demanding I have complete control. =)

`the best way i can think of to term myself is a strong minded submissive, confused?
me and my partner both are very dominate personalities( quite loud sometimes, but it does work!) we can bout be in charge and make decisions, but we both love each other so will play submissive if the need to appease or compromise occurs.
we are dominate to our children as our roles as parents

however the real domineers in our house are the children!
as usual i guess ;)

I am fairly submissive in most things, I know to back down if I am wrong and take no for an answer. I will tend to be dominant if I know I am right without doubt and I take turns in the bedroom ;)

there is a time and place if you know how to answer the question you can dominate if you do not no how to answer then you submit. as in life you do the same thing.

in a relationship
it is ALL about domination and submission.
i submit to her will
she submits to mine
but always, with love.
no love = no deal.
