I am secretly terrified of giving birth! How can I get over this feeling? It scares me too death. Yet I can't wait to be a parent. Any tips from mothers who were also frightened of child birth would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I think most women go through some kind of fear of giving birth. I was terrified! I knew I would probably have to have a c-section so I was even more scared. I went into pre-mature labor and had to have a spinal. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was a prick from the numbing medicine and that's all I felt. I didn't even feel the spinal needle go in. If you want to be a mother you will be able to do it. I have panic attacks as well, so if I can do it anyone can! Good luck to you.

I'm sort of the same way, my husband and I want a baby so bad but I am so scared of actually being pregnant, I feel that something is going to go wrong or ill have a bad labor, I just talk to my mother and she lets me know everything is going to be fine and that 90% of women feel this way also. No worries when it happens you will be fine, just like I know I will.

Every woman is nervous about giving birth - especially the first time because you have no experience to lean on. You just deal with it and get over it. There are currently 6.5 billion people on the earth - and they all had mothers....
