To reduce the appearance fast, get a mask or drying product with "sulfer" as a mian component. It immediately affects the acne, and is perfect for short term needs.
Ask a salesperson at Clarins or Clinique counters at a Dept store, and they should be able to help
and ignore the ICE suggestion, it will only further clog your pores, and wont help redness unless it is brand new. Tea Tree oil will work too, in the long term, don't worry about it yet, and if you are sensitive at all, don't use it ever. You need to worry about the weekend, and then later we will see what is going on with your skin. Save the steam and ice for next week.
Using less makeup and a little more quality "powder" is effective too at lessening the look of the acne. Go with MAC for that. Good luck

One weekend?!? Good luck! Wearing make-up will cover them up instantly, so that is the quickest way. Everybody elses advice works too, but all you need is to drink plenty of water and have a clean face, then trust me, you will notice a difference within two weeks. But ice takes away the redness by the way...

Try to get an all-natural face wash with tea tree oil in it. They sell it at Trader Joes, and if you have that store in your area ask them for the organic face wash, it works wonders! I use it and it has made my face clear up a lot, and it gets rid of new pimples very quickly. Also, if you have pimples that are really swelled up and red, use some ice on them to lessen the swelling.

If there PROPER spots then tea tree oil is ALWAYS good and if there just spots that are abit dry or you just want them to be reduced abit i think the best thing for that is sudocrem,(Will say on the tub "Also used for people with acne) Thats what i use anyway and always works, Just put some on before you go to bed and when you wake up wash it off. Remember spot creams, facial washes..ect When you start using them your spots have to get worse before getting better, They bring all your spots out then start getting rid of them so if you want them gone in 1WEEK!! then just keep that in mind, Some spot products might make you 'break out' before getting rid of your spots! xBx

Along with what everyone else has said. be sure that you do not try to squeeze them scratch them or do anything else! that's a sure way for them to just get worse in time for the weekend.

I've heard lemon juice? It must be the acid in it or something. Probably drys it out. Maybe try that.
Good luck.
