Not expressing yourself a certain way does not make you a coward. I have had relationships where the other person in my opinion was "unavailable." I had to learn that we are all raised differently and we all have different familiam dynamics that mold us into the adults we are and the abilities to show emotion that we have. If you are speaking of one particular person then give them time. If you are not willing to be patient and wait througha ll the frustrating times (believe me I've had them) then you may be better off looking for someone else that's more emotionally compatible with you.
Good Luck!

He doesn't seek you out in a crowd. Well, depending on how old you are, that's a bad sign...Actually it is a bad sign regardless of your age, but maybe he is not only shy but a coward and doesn't want to be teased for having a crush, etc. etc. He doesn't look at your face. Another bad sign. See if he looks at others faces (especially girls) or not. If he were really in to you, he would struggle to avoid looking. Signs Well, you probably know that the most incontrovertible sign of NOT being interested is constricted pupils. But it is NOT voluntary. If you're interested in him, then when you look at him your pupils will dilate. Voluntary signs. 1. When he laughs or smiles they are cut off 2. He back up (or leans away) when you address him. 3. He makes no effort at keeping the conversation going 4. He talks about things that are never personal, makes no attempt to connect 5. Most commonly, especially with children: he makes negative or unsupportive comments about you to others (his friends)

Because girls tend to be so judgmental and cruel, and if the guy doesn't say something EXACTLY the way the girl feels he should have said it, then there is a problem with her later.
Girls are guilty of not expressing themselves either. They'll wait for the guy to come to them first or try to get the guy to come to them first, instead of going up to him and telling him that they like him, or asking him out. Girls tend to want the guy to put himself out there before they'll ever make a move themselves. Talk about being cowards.

Some would say that men do not express themselves emotionally because it does not give off that manly image. Personally though, it is hard for me because I really love this girl (we have been friends for a while), telling her that I liked her was even hard (not to mention saying I love you will be even harder), because I am a wuss. I never thought I would even have the courage to say anything like that to anyone for a long time. If the guy you like is a cowardice then maybe all he needs is someone to help him be bolder for you. That's the way I feel daily after telling her I liked her. I strive to be my best not for just me, but mainly so I can be worthy/courageous enough for her. It is what every woman deserves out of a man.

The tell-tale signs a guy is a coward: Looks down all the time, won't look one in the eye when spoken too, bad posture, meek attitude and unwilling to take any risks.
Guys express their feelings. Sometimes we are sad. Sometimes we are happy. Sometimes we get mad and angry. Sometimes we expess outward love. What we don't like to express, which I am sure is what you are asking is why we don't cry and get all emotional? It makes us feel weak and you ladies deep down don't want that in a man.

girls never get to understand that it takes a lot for a guy to walk up to a girl to ask her out...i mean there are pride issues in there...especially if it is his first time doing so... at the end of the day no one wants to feel rejected....yes even guys...

its a defence mechanism - you are more prone to being attacked and hurt if your true feelings are out. happens to many who lack self confidence, but others have no problems expressing (look at song writers)

cowards pull away when you start to share what's in your heart...they never discuss emothional things..and they think it's macho to be tough on the outside but inside they are really crying

They think it is easier to avoid answers, which isn't always the case.
They may feel that avoiding a girl is the best way to make her understand that he isn't into her, which isn't always the case.
They haven't the guts to state how they truly feel.
