Because they're completely absurd and immature. They're like children you scream "mine mine mine" and then plug their ears and scream when you try to tell them something that makes sense.

The Jews go thru Abraham-Isaac; the Muslims Abraham-Ishmael.
I only have a token knowledge of the Quran; so I will not assert here for now what I have heard from multiple sources over the years about what it asserts about Jews, Christians and Israel.

Abraham(pbuh) was not a jew. For all I know, the kosher laws were non existant at his time. Nor was there the tanach. Jews are from one of the tribes of israel(pbuh). Judah. Abraham was hanif. He was not a jew. Nor was there any such thing as a jew till after moses(pbuh). About 3,500 years ago. Abraham(pbuh) existsed around 4,000 years ago. To say that abraham(pbuh) was a jew is the same as saying noah(pbuh) was a jew. FACT. They were not. They were muslims by definition. Ones who submit. For example, the definition of noah(pbuh) in english from hebrew is "he will obey". So by definition he is a muslim. For he is one who submits. Islam is the religion. A muslim is a person. And muslims don't hate jews per se. They hate zionists.

Abraham(pbuh) is one who submits. Hence, he is a muslim. Or a hanif for his true religion to my belief. His name is defined as "exalted father of many". One of the greatest to ever walk this planet. For he was no more no less than a man. And no, the christ is not his GOD. The seventh heaven in islam.

PEACE!

Muslim's believe that Abraham was Muslim and that Ishmael, the agreed upon first born son of Abraham, was the child slated to be killed on the alter when the ram appeared unlike Judeo-Christian teachings that it was Issac who was to be sacrificed. Ishmael and Hager went on to find a mystic well in the desert which eventually became Mecca after Abraham and Ishmael built the Kabal.

It is all perspective and tradition.

Muslims believe Abraham was a Muslim. That's why. Also, Mohammad's teachings were rejected by the Jews.

Abraham wasn't a Jew. The Jews are descended from Judah (hence the name), who was Abraham's great grandson.

Muslims don't consider Abraham a Jew, they consider him a muslim. It's kinda like the old Mormon practice of baptizing deceased Jews so that they can be 'saved'.
