Yes, the chances are probably good. It will be based on your family's income and financial resources (like savings). Probably will qualify for the work study program which can bring in both income and some work experience. Also, there are programs out there geared specifically towards stay at home moms (SAHMs). A good number of college campuses have a child day care facility on campus if needed. The best idea is to approach the college or university for more information. There are scholarships geared toward nontraditional students returning to school, too. Good luck!

FAFSA will take into account your last income tax filing, and your husband's income. You may not receive any student loans, depending on what his income is. Pell Grants may also be awarded.

Depending on whether you want to go to a Tech school, Community College, or a 4-year institution, (to finish a degree), you may have to work part-time to supplement your tuition.

You need to decide which college you want to attend because on the FAFSA form, it asks for a college or tech school code. This is to make sure the school has been approved by the Dept. of Education.

The FAFSA is just a form that says what kind of funds you have available from your income and those who support you. It's something you have to fill out in order to find out what federal grants and/or loans you qualify for. Once you fill it out, you'll get information from the school about what you qualify for in the way of Stafford loans, Pell grants, etc.
