That's what mine's like. I find having layers put in really helps. I'm wearing mine wavy at the moment as I got bored of straightening and it was ruining my hair. Waves add a bit more volume as well.

Well my friend, I would have to say that styles today are over rated. But the most popular one I have seen on long, dark haired girls has got to be a layered look with maroon red highlights (just hear me out), and very streeky with some blond. The blond really tones down the red surprisingly and after a few washes, it will be toned down even more if that's what you want.

Personally, I don't really like the look of dark beautiful hair with light highlights. I think you should either go for an Auburn or a brownish red color, or go for a medium brown that isn't too drastically different from your color now. You have very beautiful hair as is, so make sure not to damage it too much when coloring it, or mess with the color to the point where it looks bad. Good luck!

Honestly, try something non-permanent.
I have very long hair and I love the length. However, my hair was soooo frizzy! I went to the salon and they did X-tenso on my hair.
It's a straightener that lasts a couple of months, reduces frizziness etc.
I thought I'd be ecstatic, but I'm now sitting here trying to get rid of flat hair. The bottom is lovely, but the top of my head is like glued to my scalp or something
I wanna cry! I've been ruffling my hair for an hour now!

I have a friend who is a beauty operator. She has long dark brown hair and she died the ends blue. The fring all around including bangs was about an inch and a half of blue. Very striking. It looked great. This only looks great on young - no one over 40 should do this.

First girl, you need some highlights put in to make your hair pop. Some to frame your face in front and along the sides especially. Then some layers will give you a fuller look, then you could wave it or wear it straight.. OR the style is straight & boxy now, however it does not look great on everyone.

Add some lighter shade or blondish highlights and some auburn lowlights. Have it cut to frame your face and accentuate the shape of your face. If you have bone straight hair, a body wave might be different enough to excite you.

You could try layering it and maybe a few caramel highlights through it just to brighten it up
