Ali - I do believe the Muslim is a religion based in peace just as Judaism and Christianity.
It is sad though, that others would claim the name of God or Allah when they choose to do things that are violent and lead to war. MG

Muslim is not a religion, Islam is. It prefers peace to war, during Mohammed's time, Islam spread the most rapidly when there was a peace treaty signed between the Meccans and the Muslims. However, this does not mean that Islam teaches to take abuse lying down but teaches Muslims to defend themselves against attack, and to put down their weapons once the attacker puts down his or is defeated.

History would demonstrate that both Islam and Christianity are extremely violent and warlike. If you are looking for a peaceful religion you need to look at Buddhism or Jainism.

We do not even talk about our religious differences.
