You sound quite young so my opinion is your not going to win this one hunny as you are still under your parent guidance, I think it is very sad that a tribe should be the reason for you to not be with this guy but if it is your culture and one you have been brought up by then you can only but do what is expected of you. I am sure that if you go against your family beliefs then the outcome will be a lot harder to take than not been with your boyfriend any more I know I sound wicked but I do really feel for you, I have always said if I had grown up in a culture like yours I would of been in big trouble but I am a grown up now and I realise when it comes to things like this there is always a looser and unfortunately this time its you good luck be strong and be good x

from personal experience- id suggest listening to your mum--- shes gone thru all of this already--- trust me-- she knows best!
