Without using a "natural" color on your grey any red color will go pink. To cover this you would either have to go darker or lightener.

actual pink dye won't take place devoid of bleaching your hair (i've got have been given surprisingly darkish brown hair myself and that i be responsive to that i won't be able to apply lighter-colored dyes). Any dye which will take place devoid of bleach could desire to be made for darkish hair - you be responsive to those squares on the facet of the packing boxes that teach wherein colours the dye shows up maximum suitable? devoid of bleach, you will probable in basic terms be waiting to locate a dismal pink or extra diffused ones to make your brown a hotter or cooler tone. :-/ pink basically demands blonde.

all you have to do is reduce the volume of developer with water and color it red. it will automatically go pink.
grey hair won't grab the red molecules well.
if you don't want pink, but red you must first pre-deposit color into the hair.

Try to find a semi permament colour. It will not attack your darker hair. I'm not a hairdresser so I don't really know!??
