I believe in God because I desire and choose to of my own free will. Not because i was brought up in a biased environment or because I am ingnorant of science. I'm not. Its just that until science can answer the big questions rather than mess its trousers and dismiss the idea of intelligent design as ridiculous, I will continue to prefer at least a mystical or secular approach to spirituality. As far as uniformed religion goes, i'm not a big fan!
It is important to remember that a true God is concerned with all bios, not humans only. This would be an anthropocentric argument and very foolish, ignoring the bigger picture. So when we complain about bad things happening, we have to remember we may be superior to most life forms but we certainly aren't the oldest. Trees have more claim to God than we have! We are all part of a unique balance: is it really so hard to believe so when it is so unlikely that we exist, that the composition of the atmosphere happens to be able to support life, that we are the perfect distance away from the sun so as not to be frazzled or iced? No.
I think good and bad are non-cognitive words which constrain what happens into a human series of definitions, not actual empirical statements. We may see certain actions and results as "bad" or "good", but this is just our view as a human.

Yes, I believe in God.
Man is not smart enough to create this universe and all that's in it, and man has not provided proof that he does not exist knowing that logic dictates that you cannot create something out of nothing, and once you have something the process has to be started somehow.
Even the Bible implies that there is other life in space be saying in Exodus 20:4 (NIV) "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
I think most people who don't believe in God do believe in a higher being or they're simply not logical.
I believe in a higher being and I call him God.
Even an idiot with a little logic would understand that a choice of heaven or hell, that heaven is a better choice even if it didn't exist.
You can't blame God for your misfortunes, by God's design he gave you free will and you make your own choices and once you realize this, you'll make better choices.
Here's a thought. If you created a universe, and planets, and life, how would you make it self sustaining and law abiding?

Yes, I believe in God,talked to Him this morning. He always listens.Even when I am hurting, I cry out to Him and He answers. He knows what is in my heart, even if I am upset with Him, I say so. That is called relationship. That is what God desires with us all. God wants good things for us & from us. I believe He can take a bad situation & show you the good in it.The rain falls on the just & unjust, that is as God designed it.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God or Jesus is ruling the world. It does say that Satan is misleading the world and has it in his control. That's why we keep praying for God's kingdom to start ruling, so all the injustice will be done away with.
Daniel 2:44...And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;

I believe in God. When I am dissapointed I pray like everyone else. God is not going to stop the world from turning and help me because my computer froze though, because it is biblical that in these times God would not do miracles. The bible has had all the answers for me. Even so, when you pray, you do feel much calmer, at least in my case, even if God won't do a miracle in these times.

Yes, I do believe in God. It is also human nature to blame Him when we don't get what we want. The keyword here is 'want'. God will supply us with what we 'need'.
Remember, our mission here on Earth is to spread the word about Jesus and the plan for returning to God. "...He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
No matter what is happening, things are going according to God's master plan.
Keep in mind Romans 8:28, "And we know that God causes everything to work together[a] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. "

Yes I do believe in God.
As far as blaming God for certian events? No. But I have asked God why he has allowed events to happen in my life.
Do I feel that God designed bad events? No, he allows them to happen. God allowed US to have free will. We can choose the positive or the negative.
As far as people who don't believe in God, but find themselves saying "Oh my God", is funny to me. Same as when an event like 9/11, everyone started to pray to him.....Some people choose to only call on God when they NEED him. And they fail to understand that he blessess us with the good things in life.

I do believe in God, even when I get disappointed. He is not there to do my bidding; I am here to do His will. God has designed and planned all events of human history, down to the least little detail of your life, all for the ultimate good.

i don't believe gods.Coz what i have done and what i have got so far are not because of praying or believing someone.
I got everything by working hard and thinking smart by myself. No any god or any unusual power help me so far.
just think about a simple thing , If u can pass a exam by believing or praying to a god
OR
if u can cure when u are sick by praying or believing gods i
will believe Gods.
And let me know anything that can be done by praying or believing some one .
When i'm dissapointed i never say " Oh my god" , Coz i have never seen him. I say " Oh my Mom" , because i hv seen her, and she is the one who helped me so far than a god whom i never seen
