Probally 4-5 times a week it is nothing i want to act on at all! I have no desire to die i have depression, ocd, anxiety and substance abuse problems. It's just when i get so depressed the thought of death does linger in my mind kinda like a natural instinct and i don't know why? My whole family had bipolar, depression and substance abuse problems, so yeah also my father was abusive and unavailable. Now for my mom she was wonderful very affectionate and just did everything and anything for me i have the up most respect for that woman and do consider her and my two sisters my best friends i've always love them!

I had a very strict catholic upbringing. I had a decent relationship with my parents. Nothing over the top, but loving none the less.
My mom died a couple of months ago so death has become very real for me. I think of it often but probably not the same way others do. I believe in reincarnation. In my mind I can't believe Gods whole plan was to give me a blip on the eternal time line.
I have been regressed to past lives a few times and have done many past live regressions on other people. Some may think its a load of crap and who am I to say they are wrong, because I can't physically hold evidence in my hands that proves its true. But I will say that it helps me to understand and cope with the idea of dieing. Knowing that "I'll be back" (sorry for the Arnold pun) puts my mind at ease about the thought of death. Also knowing that some of the people I now love and share my life with were with me in past lives, and more then likely will be in the future, helps to cope.
I don't want to get on a soap box (too late?), but its was very difficult for me to put aside my religious teachings to embrace this thought. I take alot of criticism for it, and I'll probably take some on here, but it is my belief and it helps to know that I will be with my mom once again.
We always say I wish I new then what I know now. The ironic part is, when we begin a new journey (life), we do !

I think of death when someone I knows dies. Plus now that I am older(42) I have made out a living will. When I get somewhat older I will probably do my pre-planned funeral. I know that some do not like to think about it. But dying is as natural as being born. I feel that you need to let others know what you want, ie, Do you want to be buried or cremated? Do you want to donate any of your organs, even your body for science? Would you prefer a donation made in your name to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers? There is some much to decide and well I want to know the wishes of my loved ones so when it happens I will do what they want, not do what I think they want. I did have a very good up bringing and yes I have a wonderful relationship with my parents.

I think about death every day... it would be abnormal to ignore such an important part of life. Good relationships with parents, all _needs_ met but not all _wants_, but again, this is only normal.

I don't think about death much. It usually pops up in my mind when something tragic happens, like last night i got a call from my friend tellling me that a friend of ours shot himself in the head. It sucks because he was a young guy with his whole life ahead of him.
