Just 5 simple things should be able to do it.
1. Every individual should change himself and take a vow not to be corrupt.
2. Make all transactions with govt agencies very transparent and time bound.
3. Make all public servants accountable for their actions.
4. Open an official website where individuals can post details about corrupt officials alongwith details.

When all the black money is got back and those who are responsible for such a kind of looting on a massive scale are put to death .One may feel I am very harsh but this is the way India will be free from corruption if today these idiots are put to death then the remaining idiots will be afraid to do any kind of looting . Our constitution which as sooo many loop holes must be torn to shreds and thrown away a new legal system and a new Constitution supporting benevolent dictatorship as in singapore must be introduced ! the candidates for the post of this dictatorship should not be determined by voting but by very difficult tests of honesty ,bravery ,very difficult and harsh test of ones moral and ethical standing and very harsh test on wisdom ! those who may be selected out of these may then be called by the supreme courts highest authority for further interviewing and among those selected if there are more than one person selected the conflict can be cleared by the special bench of the supreme court which may consist of selected lawyers only for this .. This way we will have a true visionary and a people's champion guiding us ! and the country will prosper .I think this is the best solution !

Great question.
The primary 5 things to make India a corruption free country are:

1) there should be strict punishment for both the parties involve in a corruption based transaction.

2) as corruption is more visible in government agencies , there should be close watch on the employees by using cameras .

3) there should be overall improvement in the ethical standards of people and movies like "Lage Raho Munnabhai" should be encouraged for that purpose.

4) there should be new procedures which involve few individuals while completing any transaction which involves public and government.

5)the use of technology can reduce the corruptions as most of the dealing can be performed using Internet. And for that India should follow examples of other countries like USA to make administrative procedures easier and corruption free.

Using Technology is one of the best way to eradicate the corruption. Set a secret camera on all Government offices. If the employee getting bribe from some person then we can caught the person easily. If we punish the person severly then that would create awareness on the other persons too. This is for low level office people.

First we should eradicate corruption in politician level. Because they are gaining so much of crores when they are in power. All the money are ours. If a person caught for doing corruption then he should be punished severely. The Government should get back all the money from the man.

We can never make it corruption-free , we can only make it less corrupt. That would to a larger extent solve the current issues.

First of all, the officials must be capable enough to do their job and not just come up by using money power. Thats lacking in India and so its backward pretty much except for the foreign currency inflow.

the first thing is to analyse the sources of corruption and also the nature of corruption. if we minimise the number of persons involved in the day -to-day affairs then corruption will naturally comes down. the usage of computers will definitely help in minimising corruption especially in govt. deptments.
the greed for higher profit, or more accumulation of wealth/assets is another reason. if a limit is prescribed for the amount of wealth one can posses it will too help in minimising corruption.
there are sections of people in india whose daily earning is not more than Rs.50/-,then there are some people whose daily earning is more than Rs. 1500/- . this kind of large differentiation must be eradicated.
there is the factor of Mental-corruption also. one offers coco-nut to a god anticipating favour from the almighty. this is one of the many mental-corruptions.
the difference between those who have powers and those who have no power must be abolished.numerical-evaluation -system will give raise to objective analysis and helps in minimising corruption.

I think that there should not requirement of 5,10,15..... things to stop the corruption. first u listen this thing " One day one rich person gone to a pub and ask for drink to drink server, the drink server came with a bottle and a glass and put on his table. but that rich man say why only one plz bring more and serve to all. as per the direction of that rich person the drink server serve the drink for all. After that he approach to that rich person with a BILL of that drinks. But the rich man denied and said that he has made order only for drink not for bill. then the person told to than rick person " sir, there is no requirement to order a BILL. It has come automatically along with the drink.

So my dear if all understand this fact of BILL then there will no more thing will required to make the country corruption free.

My answer to this is: Cleanse the Police and Judicial system, rest all will fall under place. If the Law is well maintained rest is nothing. Police and Judiciary really play big role in the development of a country.

1) Stop falling prey to Indian politicians caste based divide and rule policy!
2) Educate our children well and give them good values
3) Know our rights and try to stand for them
4) Stop giving bribes to get the work done out of the way and try to stand in the que for it to be done as per the system!
5) Adopt modern technology and utilize it to our best ... for eg. we can help the police catch the person accepting bribe by fitting in the suitcase of money some tracking device like one available from www.itemsofdesire.com and then catching the person getting away with it! - we have done it already twice!
