no using a program isn't illegal. Sharing music or videos that you didnt pay for is though, no matter if you do it through a program, ftp, web site, its called copyright.. I dont give a ****, just stating the obvious...

Using a program like Bit Torrent or Limewire is not illegal . However downloading copyrighted and licensed content using it is illegal.

It is not illegal in most areas to use the programs. However, many countries have laws against knowingly sharing (uploading or downloading) copyrighted materials. To be safe, just be careful. And have fun!

Its called file sharing. Its not as quick and easy as buying stuff , and downloading it on like Itunes or something else like that. No its not illegal as long as you dont download and sell for money..

Having those P2P purposes put in on your pc is by no ability unlawful. If somebody makes use of those P2P apps to proportion copyright fabric, then they could be performing illegally.
