Lol. We went with easyjet from Edinburgh to London for a wedding a couple of years ago. We also used the Easybus to get us to and from the airport into centre of London. When we were coming back, the bus was two hours late and we missed our flight back by 30 secs (this is no exaggeration) and they wouldn't let us on the plane. Then we told them that it was their bus that made us late and they said it was a different company and that they take no liability (it was EASYBUS - part of EASYJET!!). They didn't act like they cared at all or anything like that. Eventually, we got our flights changed, but if we hadn't moaned, then they wouldn't have done that either! That what you call 'no-thrills airline'. lol I had the same problem with Ryanair once as well - though the customer service was terrible for that one. I would still use both, just because they're cheap lol.

I detest Sleazyjet. They left me stranded at Luton Airport for 7 and a half hours waiting for a flight to Edinburgh because there were NO PLANES available. Only compensation was a £5.00 food voucher. I was demented but didn't have enough money to use another airline/mode of transport. I haven't used their poxy airline since and I have no intention of ever using it in the future. To cap it all the guy who owns it was on my previous flight from Amsterdam giving a speech to all the passengers about how wonderful they were. If I'd clapped eyes on him after the wait at Luton I would have throttled him.

I have used Easyjet regularly for both business nd pleasure.

I have had no complaints but some airports treat Easyjet passengers quite badly in that you have to walk miles. (Gatwick).

Other Airports, usually not BAA controlled are great. e.g Barcelona.

Fly Easyjet and thank Stelios for saving you money.

Any hold ups I have been experienced have been the result of fog (no blame there) or in one case BAA ran out of de-icing fluid. (I was lucky my inbound flight from Gibraltar was diverted to Malaga and the time delays were equal!)

We should remember that it is thanks to Easyjet, Ryanair etc. that flights are not only for the rich.

I once had to fly from Jerez in Spain to Edinburgh a few years back. It cost me £1,000. Just look at the cost today!

Eastjet is no frills but who the hell wants to pay £500 for a glass of sherry?

They are very strict on time. Be there nice and early cause you don't want to be late or you wont make the flight. They can cancel your flight without notice and the staff are very hostile.

Any more you want to hear? I've experienced them all. You must remember that they are a cheap airline and basically no thrills. I have always said you get what you pay for.

Have fun at the dam, its great, and watch out for the pickpockets.

I don't expect a budget airline to be cushy but I would expect them to be accommodating in so far as getting you from A to B without more than the customary ?mandatory hassle. Last experience left us feeling mauled by the bully-boys. One thing I wouldn't expect is to be charged twice as much for the original tickets for 3 when they refused to let us board (having checked in on time and arrived at the gate with 10 mins left after staff-shortage-fuelled delays in Security-with-whom-you-do-not-argue) and compelled us to purchase new tickets for the next flight if we weren't to sacrifice our holiday and pre-paid apartment also. Took months of emails and letters to be refunded via credit card and even then I wasn't sure if it was an error or sympathetic office-worker - no explanatory letter/email or apology. Never again.
