I've got a large wall hanging (though it can also be used as just a bedspread so there's no tabs or anything for hanging, it's just like a blanket) of size around 100 inches by 80, not too heavy material.

Just wondering what's the best thing to buy to hang it up (pins, sticky somethings, something else)... I'm looking for things I can get in UK shops like WH Smith, Woolworths, etc...

Don't reply if you're not going to say anything useful.

Oh and I don't want any solutions that are going to have to involve me sewing or anything like that

In my line of work, we are often hanging thins on the walls. There are a number of solutions but since you don't want to sew anything, you've cut out lots of answers.

My choice would be to use velcro. You can buy it at WH Smith or Woolworths or any other home hardware store. Buy the roll that comes in a box and don't buy the kind you have to sew on. Get the type that is self-stick. Stick one part to the wall and the other part to the wall hanging. I also suggest that you staple the part to the wallhanging since the sticky tape won't last as long on material. Staples won't show, especially if you do it so the back part of the staple is on the front side of the wall hanging. The staples will also be very easy to remove and won't leave marks in the material. We do this regularly in homes we decorate to sell.

Now... enjoy your new wall hanging.

I am somewhat bothered by some of the merchandising. But I'll tell you what I would buy, and you see if that makes sense to you. 1) Bibles. I don't have to explain that one. 2) Bible Aids. Concordances, Bible Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Commentaries. 3) Things that are able to decorate a house interior: things that help someone do this: Deuteronomy 11 18 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 20 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates, 21 so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the LORD swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth. 4) Charts of Biblical things. Those that tell the names of God, and the history of the church, and other charts that tell of the artifacts found which help to prove the Bible.

I can't see anything sticky being very useful for hanging a blanket. I'd just go old fashion and use nails.
