just take a leaf off the plant,and squeeze the gel toward the open end.the gel is the aloe vera

you can do several things. pound the leaves to break the skin or split them and squish the juice out. I have heard some people will add coarsley chopped leaves to rose water and liquify it in a blender. this will make it less sticky and absorb faster.

just break off a piece and rub the part you want it on the straight sap from the plant is great
