Absolutely! Id actually prefer a man to be an animal owner! Any pet would be fantastic really - although I might get a bit freaked out if he had tarantulas or anything with more than four legs!

Ofcourse I'd date a man with a pet. I would date a man without one too.
My fav pet for a guy is a dog. But if he had a snake..YIKES!!

what the hell has him having a pet got to do with dating him? unless your allergic to the pet he has of course.
good pets for men are dogs and cats and fish - thats about as much as men can handle I think......bad pets are snakes, spiders, rabbits and parrots - parrots are just plain annoying!
personally I would judge a man on his personality rather than his pet.

An aggressive or overly-amorous rottweiler or pit bull would definitely be a turn off. Personally, I'm not really into reptiles or rodents. I prefer things that are soft and cuddly so an affectionate cat or dog would be fine otherwise.

I have a pet rat called Rocket.
Not that i date every girl that comes in my door, but it's a talking point and suprisingly, most females want to hold him.

I would, with exceptions:
Absolutely no snakes, komodo dragons or anything with scales. He would be likely to be a snake himself. Oh, and probably not any men with a particular love for sheep or goats.
Fluffy animals, fish, the occasional eel or tarantula are no problem.

Yes! because you can observe him how he treat animal. Thus, is almost similar in treating human. So! you can better understand the man.
