No one can choose for you.
My personal recommendation:
Pick the religion that feeds your soul, that results in you having applied, consistent, impartial compassion for others; the one that inspires you to leave the earth a better place than you found it; the one that adds to the sum of joy in the world.
Listen to you own inner wisdom as you research. It's very liiely that that small inner voice will sigh in relief, or that your soul upwell with a sense of home-coming when you find the religion that is right for you.
May you be blessed in your seeking.

None is the answer...
Follow your brain's thoughts; don't just swallow the religious rubbish without a second thought. Buddhism is the best of the main religions, in that they do not believe in a god as such, but in a structure of the universe which is controlled by individuals actions.
I am an atheist, and very happy to be rid of all those narrow-minded restrictions to common sense and freedom. As long as you respect the environment, in which you live, and are courteous, to the other folks you share it with, then you should have a happy life.

Christianity.
I recommend that you do not get bogged down over denominations, there may be many branches of the church, but we all have the same God, Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no other.
I would like to warn you of a danger you may face in your decision making time, that of getting sucked into a church or denomination that claims to be the only true church, or claims that they alone have the correct interpretation of scripture.
They are the cults. These are the ones to avoid.
I would recommend to you to try attending a mainline denom. church, such as a baptist, lutheran, methodist, and ask questions. You can set a meeting up with the pastor, and ask questions you need answers to. Join a bible study.
Remember this last thing I'll write- fulfillment comes from knowing Jesus Christ. Take care.

The true religion:
1.) PRACTICES LOVE: True worshipers are "no part of the world," are not divided by race or culture, and display "love among themselves." (John 13:35; 17:16; Acts 10:34, 35) Rather than killing one another, they are willing to die for one another.--1 John 3:16
2.) TRUSTS GOD'S WORD: Instead of teaching "tradition" and "commands of men as doctrines," true religion bases its doctrine on God's Word, the Bible. (Mathew 15:6-9) Why? Because "all Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight."--2 Timothy 3:16
3. SRENGTHENS FAMILIES AND UPHOLDS HIGH MORAL STANDARDS: True religion trains husbands to "love their wives as their own bodies," helps wives to develop "deep respect for their husbands," and teaches children to "be obedient to their parents." (Ephesians 5:28, 33; 6:1) In additions, those entrusted with positions of authority must have exemplary morals.--1 Timothy 3:10.

I suggest you forget about figuring out which religion is the correct one. I don't know if you believe in Christianity, but in the bible Jesus said that he came into the world to bear witness to the truth and that everyone that is on the side of truth listens to his voice. Religion is just a man made thing meant for worship. If you really study it, a lot of it is just ritualism. There are many "Gods" out there, and there is no correct religion. However, the correct course of action, if you are seeking spirituality is to search for truth. I think you believe that there is a higher power, and it sounds like you do if you want to know about religion, mediate or pray about it. Truth is difficult to take sometimes, but the truth is true for everyone. Its universal law. If you believe that God cannot tell a lie, then that must be the truth.

U may be wondering to choose a correct religion to embrace. Do some research and find out what it has to offer and which one is more suitable for U. Of course, I will say Islam is a true religion as it is mentioned in the Quran. But U may not agree with me and might consider others. However, many converts find peace and faith in Islam. They get what they are looking for in life and in after life. Try to get more info about Islam and make your wise decision. May ALLAH guide U to the correct path. Good Luck.

Jesus Christ said that He was establishing His church, NOT church(es). Find the one keeping ALL His commandments. You should start your search by researching the Sabbath and eliminate churches that observe Sunday. Don't look for fulfilment. Jeremiah 17 verses 9 & 10 explains that our feelings are the MOST deceitful things on earth. Ask for God's help. I will pray for you.

I have gotten most fulfillment out of the Tao Te Ching, personally. But what ever religion brings you peace is the one that is true.
(ok people, thumb me down for not saying a bible based religion, I know it's coming)

No one can honestly tell you which religious path, if any, is the most fulfilling for you.
No one can honestly tell you which religious path, if any, is true for you.
True spirituality is a personal journey, seek and ye shall find, I did.

1. A christian church
2. One that has the 'narrow road'
3. Ask yourself which Christian church has been with us from the
beginning.
That should narrow it down a bit, then pray for guidance.
Hope that helps.
