Most people seem to feel it is better for them to be married, as evidenced by the fact that the overwhelming majority of adults ARE either married or actively trying to get that way.
Speaking as someone who just recently got married, I love it. The compromises involved are nothing compared to the joy of having a mate who has your back 24/7.
It's not for everyone, though. In the New Testament (don't remember which book) Paul expresses the opinion that it is better NOT to marry, IF you can handle the single state. There is a freedom of focus available to single people that you cannot experience while also devoting adequate time and energy to your marriage.

I'm not sure if you mean legally married vs living with someone or having a significant other vs not but I think it is very important to have someone special in your life that you can share things with whether it is a physical relationship or not.

As for the bonds of matrimony it is a personal decision and not at all a must have in this day and age. I did it once and I would do it again.

Well people have different opinions but I'd say being single is best. You wouldn't have to worry about your boyfriend or husband arguing with you and not agreeing on things and then you break up. Breaking up tears hearts apart so being single doesn't put you in danger of being heartbroken later on

Depends on the person. Young people have the mindset that they love being single and never want to get married. But when you get older you think about things, who wants to be 40 and with nobody. When they get older they realize. nobody wants to be alone with no companion

both but it depends who you are . if you are a rich person and have very good career then you don't need to be worried for being single or suffering from marriage but if you are not then you need some one to share your whole life and people look at you as normal person
