I do and I just believed this about a half an hour ago. Thanks to some answers about the Pope. If I have offended anyone I apologize, please don't take it personally, this is not about the Catholic believers or the Catholic Church. It's about the Holy Spirit revealing truth unto me. First off, God is the Heavenly Father, and he clearly states that Satan is the Father of all lies. Pope is the Latin word for Father. "Satires" 6:633get it, 6, 6 and 3+3 = 6Whoa, that's deep.To those who have understanding: the anti christ is the number of a man. Many will be decieved. It's true, I know it is, and if anybody says that I am boasting, I boast in the spirit of truth given to me by my Heavenly Father God. I have been studying the book of Revelations for about 9 yrs. pondering, meditating, seeking, searching and now recieving in the Name of Jesus. Say what you want and believe what you want, mission complete. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, Amen. I go in Peace

Why do you place so much emphasis on the cryptic verses of Revelation and ignore the clear Gospels of John and Matthew?
John 21:15-17 states:
When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs."
He then said to him a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep."
He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." (Jesus) said to him, "Feed my sheep.
Matthew 16:17-19 states:
Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
The Catholic Church believes the Lord made Simon alone, whom he named Peter, the "rock" of his Church. He gave him the keys of his Church and instituted him shepherd of the whole flock.
The Pope is the senior pastor of 1.1 billion Catholics, the direct successor of Simon Peter.
With love in Christ.

I don't believe that the Pope is Satan on Earth. Satan is a different and separate being from the Anti-Christ. The Anti-Christ will be sent by Satan to spread evil in the world by teaching doctrines contrary or the exact opposite of the teachings of Christ. There's only one Anti-Christ that will reign on earth, and popes have come and gone. I even read years back that the First Anti-christ was Napoleon Bonaparte, the second was Hitler and the last one was Saddam Hussein. If this was true, then it's over. However, whoever the anti-Christ is, I hope he doesn't show up soon, coz this will herald the start of the Great Tribulation leading to the End of the Days.

I think that's giving way too much credit to an old man who only gets his position by outliving another old man.
I'm not a Catholic, but half of my family is. I respect individual Catholics (that was never the issue, but one still has to point this out occasionally to avoid being overly offensive about an issue that offends most people) but I feel that the Catholic church (the hierarchy, that is) is one of the most corrupt organizations on the face of this earth. I still don't feel that makes their leader Satan. I really don't believe there is a Satan on this earth, under it or anywhere else, but that's another topic altogether.
I do know that, numerologically speaking, 6 is the number of Man. It is one less than perfection, which is 7, as Man is slightly less than perfection. Three is seen as a complete number, so three 6's is completely imperfect, which is opposite of God, who is completely perfect. Hence, the anti-Christ of Revelation must be Man. Perhaps what it really means is that all of Man is against God? Or perhaps the anti-Christ has already come, Armageddon already played out...apocalyptic literature is always tricky. I think that's what makes it so fun to read and try to decipher.

Proof that Barney, the cute purple dinosaur, is the Antichrist can be ascertained with a little numerical study of his name and description.
Given: Barney, a cute purple dinosaur.
Step 1: Extract the Roman numerals from the given.
(Remember since the Romans had no letter 'U', we must replace each instance of 'U' with a "V")
Initial conversion: BARNEY A CVTE PVRPLE DINOSAVR
Roman Numercial extraction: C V V L D I V
Step 2: Add them: 100 + 5 + 5 + 50 + 500 + 1 + 5 = 666
Irrefutable proof! Christian Parents are advised to get all their kids Barney tapes and burn them!

No. The Pope is the vicar of Jesus right here in the international, because of the fact he's the successor of the Apostle St. Peter. The Pope isn't God. Vicar ability successor. As in being the successor in best His Militant Church. Now in case you reject the authority of the Pope you're in reality rejecting the authority of Jesus, because of the fact it became Jesus who entrusted His Militant Church interior the hands of St. Peter and the different Apostles. And experience St. Peter became the chief of the Apostles, even back interior the early Church the Bishop of Rome constantly had particular government over the different Holy Sees. in case you do no longer believe this do somewhat examine concerning the *** Church docs all of whom defended the authority of the Bishop of Rome: St. John Chrysostom (Archbishop of Constantinople), St. Gregory Nazianzus (Archbishop of Constantinople), St. Athanasius (Patriarch of Alexandria), St. Cryil of Alexandria (Patriarch of Alexandria), St. Cryil of Jerusalem (Bishop of Jerusalem).
