Jesus was Aramaic (sp.?), which is an Arabic tribe, so he would have looked like most Middle Eastern people today. I've seen computer recreations using families whose ancestors have lived in that area for thousands of years, and who are of Aramaic descent, and I couldn't tell much difference between the simulation and the skin tone and features of many Arabs today.

That isn't something bad that you said - nobody should bite off your head! I'm guessing that Jesus had medium colored skin. However, the rumor that you heard was exactly that, a rumor that someone started, because nowhere in any text does it mention the shade of Christ's skin.

I am not going to bite your head off. Actually, Jesus probably was dark skinned. Do you see a lot of white people in the Middle East?

The bible doesn't necessarily mention the skin-color of Jesus. It does, however, mention His lineage. Because we know this, we can conclude He was like many of the people around Him, dark-skinned. this is not a hard-core fact. it's simply a guess, since no one living today can give His precise color. but it would've most probibly been a shade of dark.

Given the region where he was born and grew up, it is probably less of a rumor and more common sense that he was dark skinned.

Obviously he was dark skinned because of the climate. He would have been similar to today's inhabitants of the middle east.

I think he was more commonly known as pale skin. Maybe you should read : The Bible, it might give you n idea of his skin complexion.

Well, given the country he was born and grew up in, he probably was.
