Im a smoker,I've just returned home from eating a breakfast at our local cafe.
inside the cafe is a smoking section, this woman sat next to and started smoking and blowing smoke at me,while I was eating a breakfast, remember I smoke also,I politely asked her if she could blow her smoke the other way while I eat,she said if you don't like it you shouldn't come in here,I was furious,my timing was impeccable and I felt no embarrassment, she bent down to get her purse to pay for a cup of tea,so I stood up and f@rted in her face, she said you dirty b@sted,i said well I breathe in your smoke you can breath in my f@rts

classic! I'm a non-smoker and I hate breathing in other people's smoke, especially when I'm eating. But I keep picturing the scene you described and I can't stop laughing.
Can't you just see the look on her face!

you did what every person wishes they had the guts to do since Steve Martin made the joke popular. "Hey, mind if I smoke? No, mind if I fart, it's one of my habits." As a former smoker, I, like you was a polite smoker. The woman got what she deserved. I personally don't think you were the rude one, she was! She should have said, oh, sorry, I will blow in the other direction. I detest rude smoker, not smokers, just the rude ones. You, my friend, are a polite person who smokes. Don't let it bother you. kudos to you

I am a smoker too, but its rude to blow smoke in anyones face. These are the people that give us all a bad name. Consequently now smoking is banned in all public eating, shopping and drinking venues where I live. Actually its banned pretty well everywhere in public here and she is the kind of person responsible for our misery.

I totally agree it seems rich to me that Biden was accused of being rude and Romney would never take his seat, and kept invading the Presidents personal space. I am sure it was all rehearsed just as were his pathetic use of hand gestures for the benefit of the FOX News viewers that have a mental age of 5. Business people like Romney are just more depraved than the rest of us, and find ways of being dishonest without it compromising their own self regard.

PMSL.what a great way to deal with someone like that. She should have had the respect and manners not to blow smoke allover your food. Whats good for the goose etc. It's a pity other smokers cannot have the same consideration as you do.

Yes it was rude, however she got just what she deserved. You asked her nicelt if she could blow smoke in the other direction, she gave you attitude so deserved the fart. I thinkanyone in that situation would have done what you did. Maybe next time she'll know not to blow her smoke in people's face while they are having breakfast. She gives smokers a bad name.

I don't think you were rude at all. You soon won.t have to put up with this kind of thing when the smoking ban comes into force. Up here in Scotland we have had it for almost a year and everywhere is smoke free. If you want a smoke then you go outside for one.

Yes, you were all of the above. But so was she. I hate smoke in my face, whether or not you personally smoke makes no different, it is disrespectul and bad mannored to blow smoke in anyones face. You did hower try and be good about it asking policetly in the first instance to which she showed no change of action.

I cannot say I agree with the bad manners V bad manners fight but it sure is funny!

Well done for having the nerve. :)

lol..... good one.

well, its right though. even though you smoke, you dont want smoke blown in your face whilst eating and she could have turned the other way to be polite and respectable.

you only did what people wouldnt have the guts to do and she dont like it, she knows where to blow her smoke next time

ok---now let me see here....it was a game of who could out rude who then eh..
well she was wrong in her manner first. i too am a smoker (and it DOES BOTHER ME when RUDE PEOPLE blow smoke into my face too) but i try my hardest to be considerate of others. she should of apologized and turned the other way to deflect the smoke from you.
but i must say that was extremely rude of you to do that to her! (lol i must admit that i would of cracked up laughing!!!) but it was still rude.
