I mean that the male and female parakeet that i got the female's bottom is kind of fat. The male tries to feed her and get on top of her but she dont let her.

She may be with Eggs already and just dont want to have anything to do with him because of it..Or she just dont like him wich is normal also..Them kind of birds and other parrot types are pickey on who they want to be with..lol..

First if you dont have a nest box she isnt going to lay eggs. Parakeets lay their eggs in hollows in trees in the wild, if you provide a nest box she may lay. Sometimes need more than one pair to accomplish this. The male feeding her is normal, when she sets on her eggs the male will also feed her. I used to raise parakeets.

you may tell the intercourse between a parakeet by ability of the cere. The cere is the fleshy epidermis that is composed of the nostrils. A adult males' cere would be royal blue till this is a lutino (all yellow) or albino parakeet. Then it could be purplish purple. a woman might have a tan/beige/faded whitish bluish cere. whilst they are in breeding undertaking they might have a reasonably greater advantageous brown crusty cere. desire I helped!
