Any man in particular, or just Man generally? If Man generally, it's not a bad way to put it - an animal elevated by thought to a state where it has a moral, and even a spiritual dimension. Also describes the conflict at the heart of psychological investigation - the conflict between the base and animal needs of humankind and the grander, more spiritual and contemplative path.

In the physical sense...It's not possible, so there is no explanation. Angels are spiritual beings, without flesh. No flesh means no cells, no reproduction, nothing tangible.

In the emotional sense...A man can have two sides; one is caring, loving, and thoughtful (the angel), and one that is pure physical instinct, reflecting physical pleasure, anger, rage, survival (the animal). Only time, trust, and patience will show whether this is his true nature (a very extreme personality), or just an elaborate mask that he's put in place. If there is a mask, you must learn which is his true face.

Your question was a bit vague, but I hope this is what you wanted to know. Blessings

I would explain it by saying that whoever made that statement didn't have their theology correct but that what they probably meant was that the person to whom they were referring sometimes acted like a good Heavenly being and sometimes they acted like a selfish, conscience less animal. Here's how the Bible puts it.

Galatians 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. (17) For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. (18) But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

(19) Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, (20) idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, (21) envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, (23) gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. (24) And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (25) If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. (26) Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

We are created with a carnal nature (which is basically animal) and when we get to some age a spiritual nature begins. Paul says the carnal is first. The crucial question is, which is in charge? Are we guided by our mind? or our body? Is our mind Carnal? or is our mind guided by the Messiah? (Let this mind be in you which was in Messiah!--Philippians 2:5) What is controlling us? Our body, our carnal mind, or the mind of the Messiah YAHOSHUA?

man is halfway between upper angelic and lower angelic. Animals are spiritual beings that are guides and sometimes food.

I do not agree with this; so I guess I do not have to explain it! human being is nothing like an animal. We have an inclination to be good and noble like angles and the tendency to be bad and evil like devils. The choice is ours.

The Bible alludes to human and demon offspring, so I believe this could possibly happen with animals. Is this referring to ancient Egyptian wall carvings?
