Yes.When God created Adam and Eve in perfection, his purpose was that all humankind come from one man, hence be related in the flesh—all one family. (Gen. 1:28) Adam named his wife Eve, meaning “Living one,” “because,” the Bible records, “she had to become the mother of everyone living.”—Gen. 3:20.
Consequently, for everyone to come from Adam and Eve, it is obvious that at least one man had to marry his sister. Cain, the first one of Adam’s sons reported to be married, very likely did so. Abel and Seth may have married their sisters, or nieces, for Adam had other sons and daughters, who, in turn, had children. (Gen. 5:3, 4) There was very little danger then of marked deformities being brought forth in the children, because the human race was much closer to perfection than now. Few bad genes (either “recessive” or “dominant”) would exist. The vigor of the early descendants of Adam is demonstrated in the longevity of men in those days, one reported as living 969 years.—Gen. 5:27.
As the race multiplied, more remote marriages became possible. But again, after the Flood, while men still lived to a great age, Noah’s grandsons, in carrying forward the repopulation of the earth, undoubtedly married their cousins. About four hundred years later, Abraham married his half sister, the daughter of his father, but not of his mother. (Gen. 20:11, 12) When Israel was down in Egypt, Amram, Moses’ father, married his paternal aunt. (Ex. 6:20) These men are neither commended nor condemned for this, since God had not yet given a law prohibiting such marriages. Of course, all along, one’s union with a wife of one’s father, as well as all fornication or adultery, was considered disgraceful.—Gen. 35:22; 49:3, 4; 34:2, 7.
Then, in 1513 B.C.E., God gave Israel the Law. By that time people were numerous on the face of the earth. And the nations in the land of Canaan, to which God was leading Israel, had become greatly debauched, promiscuously violating everything that was proper and natural by every form of sex aberration, including incest. (Lev. 18:24, 25) God gave laws concerning consanguinity in sex relations, because his people were to be a separate people. This law lifted them to a high level, making them stand out among those seven degraded nations in Canaan.
Israel was not to be free, loose and promiscuous in sexual relations. God specifically prohibited all marriages closer than first-cousin union. Along with bringing about religious cleanness before God, these laws provided protection against the genetic dangers that were then much more prevalent among the human race, more than two thousand years removed from the original perfection of Adam and Eve.

Adam and Eve were married and they were married by God Himself. Lets face it, they themselves were miracles. Being able to populate the earth with they're offspring was nothing. God allowed for this and knew this had to be. According to the Bible, there were other people on earth later on who were no doubt created by God but were not as Adam and Eve. Why is it that people try and place the creations of God and even God Himself within our puny little abilities? God can do and make happen what ever He chooses. He is God. The Creator of the universe.
Man knew later on that incest is a sin. This was even proved by the royalty of the times. In order to keep the blood line royal, they had incestual relations and suddenly they realized the offspring bore very sickly, moronic children. Inbreeding can be a very dangerous genetic problem and it's been proven many times.

Rmans 4: 15 says this: "...for the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, there also is no violation." Something is not a violation of God's law if there in no law. The laws concerning incest came in during the levitacal law which came 2500 years after Adam and Eve. So at that time it was not a sin, and for obvious reasons. Besides the practical side of it "genetic considerations" had not developed in man at that time, so there was no necessity for it.

Eve was "given" to Adam as a companion. This was the same as marriage to God.
Genesis 4:17 says, "Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." Who was his wife? It is implied in the biblical text that Cain married one of his sisters. Several facts lead us to this conclusion.
First, it is clear that Adam and Eve had a number of children. Genesis 5:4 says, "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Since Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, and since God had commanded them (and their descendants) to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28), it seems reasonable to conclude that Cain married one of his many sisters. It is also possible that he married a niece or even a grandniece.
One must keep in mind that in the early years of the human race there were no genetic defects that had yet developed as a result of the fall of man. By the time of Abraham, God had not yet declared this kind of marriage to be contrary to His will (see Genesis 20:12). Laws governing incest apparently did not become enacted until the time of Moses (Lev 18:7-17; 20:11,12,14,17,20,21). Hence, there was no prohibition regarding marrying a sister (or niece or grandniece) in the days of Cain.

Incest was considered a sin because of the fact that it did not result in children (usually). The act was looked upon as having lost the blessing of the gods, and was therefore cursed.
Treating it like an absolute, though, isn't very logical, since people in every century treated sex crimes differently.

Dear R...
In the beggining, God allowed marriage between brothers and sisters, and between relatives for the purpose to fill the Earth. But, with the introduction of the Mosaic law (The 10 commandements - its basis, and many other) God prohibited the incest. Jesus fullfill this Law perfectly, so that means that He is AGAINST incest.
And about the marriage od Adam and Eve : don't expect this that have been ordinary marriage that we know today. God made the woman from the rib of the amn - So doesn't that tell you that thay are ONE ?

Your touching on a subject that would take me a small book to argue out. but ill just leave these couple of thoughts.
Adam and Eve were the First Man and woman.. does it say anywhere in the bible that they were the only Man and Woman? no.
There are laws stated in the bible that are of "man's law" of the time. The bible says that you must follow the laws of your nation. If Incest is against the law in your nation and you commit incest. then by proxy you are sinning because it is against your nations law.
As for the first person that answered this question he is inadaquately retelling a story from the bible about a shameful act done by 2 daughters. and leaving out a good portion of what happend

It is now, but very early on in the old testament it wasn't. Alot of scholars tend to accept that incest at first was the only possible expanation. Once Moses came along with the commandments years and years later, then it became a sin.
Yes they were married. Genesis refers to them as man and wife, and also says that the two became one flesh.
