It's not that simple, their would be more casualties then ever before in Iraq, and the U.S and it's allies are really likely to be attacked on it's own territory by terrorists, and if we pulled out now, all the men and women that served in Iraq and lost theirs lives, lost them for nothing. If we pulled out now, we wouldn't accomplish our mission.
If we pulled out a long time ago, like a year after the war started, then it would of made no sense and not been such a huge issue. But since we spent so much time and lost so many lives ,it is an issue.
In a year or so, I hope we can a couple thousand troops to come home though, we have to many in Iraq risking their lives.

No, it will not be "happily ever after". That region of the globe is the number one supplier of oil to the world. Other than Bill Gates, all the richest men in the world reside in that area. To leave now will plunge the region into chaos and multiple civil wars. This will have global ramifications.
Now, maybe we should not have been there in the first place. That question is always going to be debated. But, we are in there now. And, we need to finish what was started. If we do not, life will be worse for the world than it was before this started.
I have held the position that we should go in, and basically take the whole region over. It wouldn't be that hard. Gaining world support wouldn't be that hard. Everyone talks about China and Russia. We would just have to start selling them oil at $15 a barrel. They would come around. Want US support, get gas back to around $1 a gallon. Then, people would be "Iraq who? Saudi Arabi?"

Maybe in a dream world. If we pull out now, things will get worse and no country will be safe from the terror that will emerge from Iraq. The people are not ready to take over on their own. There are still to many terrorist cells there. Wars will not cease. They are here to stay. Some of these conflicts go back hundreds of years.

No...then Iraq scummbs to terrorist factions...the Shiites will most definitely win but Sunnis will always fight back.
In the mean time, the Shiite Iraqi government will fall quickly and replaced by a Shiite Islamic regime.
Terrorist training camps will appear everywhere in Iraq and they will get a new home formidable with oil.
Eachday, hundreds of terrorists will pass thorugh the training camps preparing/training/learning/fighting for another version of 9/11 on our soil.
One thig is for certain...it's not a nice fairy tale ending.

Sure, especially with the democrats in charge. Isolationism worked last time the US tried it after World War One, right?
