And your problem is? Face facts-any religion has rules. Some people agree with them some not. Why go out of your way to state something? If you don't like the rules-leave the religion!

You do realise that the Qur'an are the words of God, not Mohammed (pbuh) ? Mohammed's sayings are a different thing.
It is very well explained in the Qur'an that yes, women should cover, that's a demand from God, and by belief you should obey this demand. It's like the 10 commandments and other laws He put on us. If you say "forces" it shows some kind of oppression, but it's God law so no oppression. He knows best and if you look around your society, chastety is less in danger if you are not showing your "assets" to anybody else than your husband.

You know, the freedom the women are fighting to actually show their body like a piece of meat is the same freedom that muslim women embrace in chosing to cover their body, so she will be judged by her personality, character etc and not her outside image. It's empowering to hide the body, it makes you feel more confident and proud to be a woman.

Islam teaches that if women dont wear the hijab its their fault if they get raped. That is sickening-blaming the rape victim for the crime committed against her.

The Quran
Sura 33:59: O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful."

because some human beings do no longer understand our own view of hijab and be conscious it by potential of an ethnocentric view which causes them to dislike it. i change into in anthropology classification some days in the past and we were discussing hijab and a woman reported it bothers us because in american custom we are allowed to dress as we pick while not having to abide by potential of cultural rules. in spite of the undeniable fact that the instructor stopped her and requested her if she walked into classification wearing no longer something yet a washing in structure might want to she be allowed to stay that way? even american custom has its guidlines and what for some is frequent is impressive to others. In africa, there change into an anthropologist that change into very uncomfortable bathing in nude publicly by using the undeniable fact that change into the impact of yank custom even as it change into no longer something to the african women human beings in that area. So cultural norms determination the international over or maybe in spite of the undeniable fact that modesty is significant in islam there are transformations interior the muslim international as to how a lot modesty might want to be practiced. There are some countries that implement hijab like saudi arabia and others that do not enable it like turkey. i imagine it really is more effective powerful even as the country is like pakistan the position besides the actual shown reality that many women human beings positioned on it besides, hijab isn't enforced or if someone doesn't positioned on it this is not that impressive to the human beings. Muslim women human beings do no longer experience oppressed by potential of hijab and yet it continues to be given a lot concentration by potential of the west. To muslims it really is area of their liberation and to others who see them wearing it feels like oppression. How unusual that there might want to be so dramatically different perspectives of an identical element. i wish a minimum of a few of that made experience

Muslim women who wear hejab feel proud and happy because they feel the beauty of performing an act of worship that pleases God. This is to protect them and to keep their dignity not to hyper expose them as we see today in TV and media for commercial purposes that affect their dignity.
