Nopt sure...
BUT VERY IMPORTANT
VERY VERY IMPORTANT
IS NO EXCESS SAY YOU PAY THE FIRST £40 OF ANY MEDCIAL BILLS AS GUESS WHAT... THATS PRACTICALLY A WEEKS RENT IN A HOSTEL
AND
How much most medical treatment and doctor visits cost in thailand , New Zealand and Aus cost.
Ier that way the insurance is worthless...
Pay the extra waver to avoid it so no excess.,
Also good tip...
Get several bank accounts with the same bank... Say Nationwide.
And another bank.
Get internet banking for each and very important ...
a VISA debit card...
As in Aus or NZ... you cant get one... Only an eftpos card which has a different number of digital. Whilst being visa your card will go thorugh credit card systems.
Without one of these you wont be able to book anything over the phone or internet.
The idea of several (oh and one being a shared account with parents when Multiple accounts in a bank.)
Parents can sort it out back home for you and transfer cash...
Incase you loose one of the cards ie machine swallows it as it will take a good month to replace. If you are in one spot for the post to catch up.
Also the earlier you do it the more overdrft facility you can accumulate.
or and check this out in thailand along the way

are you an australian resident travelling?
Backpacking is harder to get insurance for because we tend to do A LOT of activities that arent covered when you read the fine print. Ive found that the best company (and they are cheap for australian travel insurance!) are world nomads. its specifically designed for backpackers and includes cover for all those things your dying to do when you travel like snowboarding, bungee jumping, white water rafting, mountain biking, para sailing, sky jumping (all activities not covered by regual travel insurance)

if you're a primary flyer, inspect some go back and forth rewards that you'll get and what are their criteria. I were given my go back and forth coverage for free utilizing the go back and forth reward that I actually have redeemed.
