Wow, sounds like men get just as nervous as women do. Okay, best way to find out is to be her friend first, talk to her about a few things, then just gently bring the subject up in conversation. In bringing it up, I bring it up first as a joke to test the waters of their reaction. If she laughs with you and considers it a joke, it may mean that she doesn't share the same sentiment as you do. If she stops in her tracks and gets serious by taking interest, she digs you.
