Forget the margarine--look up hydrogenated oils on the internet and see what you are feeding your kids! Hydrogenated oils--and most margarines have them--are the WORST thing you can possibly put in your system.

Eat butter or olive oil mixed with butter. Butter has saturated fat but that is far far preferable to trans-fats which are hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils. Whenever you see a vegetable oil that is solid or semi-solid, you almost always have some kind of hydrogenation. Cocount oil is good for you although it is a saturated fat, it is a natural fat from the seed of the coconut and has all kinds of wonderful properties.

Stay natural!
