how to raise funds?

i m working in an organization which treat the patients free of cost. we need funds to run the organization. do u have any idea to raise funds. i need some modest ideas.

I dont know what the weather is like where you live.. I was thinking of a car wash, a bake sale, a silent auction where businesses and people in the area donate services or goods and people silently bid on them with pen and paper, and highest bidder wins. Also you may try to contact any local government offices where you are and see what they can do to help.. I applaud you for what you are doing, and I hope it works out for all involved, more people should take the time to do things like you are doing.. Good Luck!!!!

Just to let you know, I used the silent auction recently to raise money for our local pet shelter, and it worked out well....

When my sister told me that they need to raise fund for a family, together we used the recycle can to cut into various type of birds to sell. Within a week, we managed to raise the fund that we have set.

I also have displayed my "items" in the web page. Perhaps we could consider using the same method..
