If you suspect him drop him, I don't see the issue. If you can't trust him alone with your own mother, I doubt your willing to let him even look at other girls.
Either learn to trust him or don't trust him at all. If your boyfriend still visits after you break up, then I think the answers clear. Easiest solution is to ask your boyfriend why he's so jumpy? After all it could be your imagination.
As for the chain, is it possible that your mother found it and kept it for herself? Theft is much easier to believe then cheating on you. But ask him why he's jumpy when your return from wherever it is you go and observe their reactions. And as said earlier, you could just pretend to leave and come back sooner then they'd expect.

Your mum needs to find her own man! or you can hind some cam in her room and film them... Or leave them together on purpose then come early! basically, do more research and pay attention to little details
