not far, because real love is an illusion you give yourself, and you can do that right where you are, real love doesn't exist, empirically, but we convince ourselves we have found it and then can't understand what the hell happened when the facade is worn so thin you can see right through it and realize what you thought was real love obviously wasn't...don't beat yourself up looking for something that isn't there, just enjoy the moment, being with whoever you happen to be with, and know that there's always another waiting in the wings

I wouldn't go far these days. I've tried so hard and failed. It is even harder than finding a good career, especially at my age.
