If i was him i would call that city`s station and get a little more info.Surely they must not have a warrant for his Arrest. What Would be tough is ,if he was involved in it.I would also call from a phone that could not be traced just in case he knows to much for his Owen good.Calling would mabe clear your worried thoughts. If you are the mom ,i would call .Don`t tell him either. That way you can mabe get a perspective of the situation.

I agree that he should not go without a lawyer. However, if he decides not to go and they have good evidence then they will get a warrant and come get him. So consider the embarrassment of the police arresting him publicly with a warrant or him coming quietly to the station with his lawyer. I guess it depends if you think they have enough evidence to get a warrant.

Tell him not to go. Get a lawyer. Do not answer any of the police's questions without a lawyer present.

Shouldn't you be up in arms that your son is being investigated for credit card fraud? You should immediately drive him there and demand an explanation from your son in front of the police!!!

Why do they want him to visit?///what are they saying he did or saw?....if they ask,and he says No,its no arrestable offense or anything.....but it seems they want to question him about something.....if you think he is pure as the driven snow and couldnt possible be involved in anything, drive him yourself.....otherwise,consult an atty, hes prob in trouble

Don't say no to the Police! He should go. The more help he gives them, the better off he'll be.
