Vegetables generally have less calories than fruit - averagely about 10-30 kcal per 100 grams, while fruit averagely from 40-60 kcal per 100 grams. Have a look at the link I have provided, it lists the most common fruit and veggies.

Definitely vegetables. Especially if you like them bland. I like them loaded with ketchup which defeats the purpose. Also, fruit has alot of sugar. You could eat bland veggies by the bagfuls, and you wouldn't gain a pound.

I think veggies do, because most fruits are very high in sugar content. But I think it also depends on the vegetable too. Corn is higher in calories than say celery.

All fruits are fruit and vegetables. A "vegetable" is a plant, any part of which can be used for food.

hmmmm. pickles are a fruit(yes cucumbers are fruit) and have 0 calories. celery is a stalky vegetable and have -0 caolries, meaning you use more calories eating them than they have.
