This is so common,my youngest daughter was the same, she would hold it until I put her night nappy on.She seemed scared to poo on the toilet. It seemed to resolve itself in the end.One day,she just couldn't hold it anymore and had an accident on the floor.I cleaned it up calmly and just said,'never mind,it was supposed to go in the toilet, maybe next time' after that things improved.Once they realise that there is nothing so bad about poo, they usually get over it.Make sure her diet has plenty of fibre so her stools are soft and easy too pass.

I don't think there's anything to worry about. My daughter is 2 1/2 as well, and I had the exact same situation. Until 1 day I took the #2 out of her pull-up and put it in her potty and shouted "Yeahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!" & gave her a small treat.... she's actually been going #1 & #2 in her potty since then..... but the only thing is when she does use her potty, she expects her treat..... which is a little gummy bear/jujube.

Don't stress she will eventually. All 3 of my kids took to it differently.

1st one would stop using the potty for ages
2nd one barely used a potty for long
3rd one didn't like the potty at all and went staight to the toilet.

Good luck, the more stressed you get with your daughter over it the more stubborn she will become. She needs to feel comfortable to make a change.

i actually purely have been given performed potty coaching. and that i asked her each and every hour if she had to pass, if no longer i could be like enable's attempt and we went whilst she did in line with or poop i could enable her %. out of a jar which had snacks cookies suckers all that stuff if she threw a in wonderful condition i could positioned her in day out. or purely forget concerning the foot and tell her whilst she's performed she would be in a position again see you. tell her no on the diapers remember you are the boss no longer her. And constantly tell her she did a solid interest and reward her if she pees or poops. yet whilst she does not pass then dont supply her any snacks. whilst she sees how solid she's doing she'll opt to do all of it by ability of herself. and of direction solid success!

My daughter did this too, and when I asked her why she said that it came out too fast and was a bit sore. Keep her bowels nice and soft with lots of tangerines and orange juice. When my daughter managed it, I went to town with the praise big time, telling her how happy mummy was, how she was a good girl.
You could also ask your doctor for a child's laxative if she holds it in too much and becomes really constipated. Good Luck you'll get there eventually!

this is normal.. It takes more to go poopy on the potty. All i would do is when he/she poopys in there pants explain to them that big boys, girls goes on the potty set her/him on the potty. After time they will get the concept of poopy in the potty.
